Addicted to Baseball

i seem to be addicted to my video game "MLB 2006" that i play on my PS2. i am playing a season as the texas rangers, and i'm currently 39-13. each game takes about 45 mins to play and i find myself playing almost two a day. on a couple of occasions i have woken up in the morning and left for work later than normal just so i can have time to play a game. but, i have the urge to do that all the time now. i think what really drives my addiction is that the game has set goals for me to achieve. such as have a .500 team over 2 seasons. that is over 300 games mind you. a couple more examples are to lead the league in individual home runs and have an average attendance of 39k over 3 season. now we are talking 500 games to reach that one. this goal is part of the franchise mode that i'm in. i not only play, but i have to coach and run the team in every aspect as well. i will take a moment to say that i am the short stop for the ranger and i'm batting .384 with 9 home runs, 44 RBIs, and leading the league in all-star votes for short stop by over 150 votes. i guess i'm like kerri and her addiction to tetris?
